Bird Watching in Nepal

Nepal is a home to some wide range of birds because of the country’s geographical and meteorological diversity. Some are native to Nepal, while others migrate from other portion of the globe seasonally to escape the extremity of the climate. Alone within the area of 1,47,181 km2, at least 870 different species of birds are found. Bird watching or simply Birding combines a trip to a relatively remote location, with an observation of birds interacting among themselves and the surrounding.
Phulchoki is an excellent place for bird watching if you are in search of a place that is close to the capital city. However, other places, like Chitwan, Annapurna, Langtang, Bardiya, etc. are other important places for a bird lover. If you are a bird-water and you come to Nepal, then congratulations, you are in for a treat. Those places where you go for birding have got many other attractions as well. For example, in Annapurna region, you’ll be offered a spectacular view of Himalayas, and in Chitwan is also a home to many exotic wildlife besides birds.
So if you are willing to visit Nepal as a birder, then Sherpa Khangri Outdoors welcomes you wholeheartedly with a promise that you’ll get more than what you have expected.
