Ghorepani-Poon Hill Trek (8 Days)

Indeed, with no risk of altitude sickness this trekking could be done through the all season except in the monsoon. This easy has enough walking way along streams and rhododendron (national flower of Nepal) forest. The spectacular view of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Nilgiri, Himchuli, Fistal and other mountains of the Annapurna Region is the main attraction of the trek. For the accommodation and food we use the luxurious mountain lodges / tea houses during the entire trek. This is an easy trek which takes you up to the highest altitude of 2775m at Ghorepani and 3210m at Poonhill. This trip can also be combined as an extension tour of Pokhara and Chitwan.
ITINERARY
Day 01 : Arrival Day in Kathmandu 1300m
Day 02: Fly / Drive to Pokhara (823m/2,700ft): 30 minutes / 5 -6 hours
Day 03: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga 1540 m: 4 hours
Day 04 : Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani 2810 m ; 6-7 hours
Day 05 : Ghorepani - Poon Hill 3210 m - Tadapani 2700 m ; 5 – 6 hours
Day 06 : Tadapani - Ghandruk – Pokhara; 7 hours
DAY 07: Fly / Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu : 30 minutes / 5 hours
Day 08 : Departure
